The unique innovation from Nagel, the DFC “Digital Flexo Cut” Machine, offers various applications such as:

...and that on one form and hence in one run!

The principle of the machine is based on a high quality magnetic cylinder, a conveying cylinder and a flexible die-cutting form. The magnetic attraction of the cylinder allows the flexible forms to be mounted fast and easy.

Any material such as paper, cardboard and some PE-materials up to 450 gsm can be handled by the DFC. The maximum speed is up to 2,300 sheets per hour (standard DIN A4) so even middle-sized editions can be processed within a reasonable time. 

The flexible die-cutting forms get tailored according to the customer’s individual requirements (any vector graphic). You can order your die-cutting form from the manufacturer of your choice, but we can also recommend a manufacturer according to your applications.

Due to its short set-up time, the DFC is particularly suited for small, medium and frequently changing running lengths in digital or offset printing. Its versatility enables the print shops to process even highly specialized jobs.
