The CardExtra Plus is an automatic cutter for flexible on-demand print finishing.

The CardExtra Plus has been developped to meet the flexible needs of the growing number of digital printers for a highly accurate and easy to use cutting and creasing module. Versatile opportunities offer automatic trimming and creasing (in landscape and portrait mode) in a one step process. The combination with the proven creasing technology avoids cracking of the substrate to perform an exact and crack-free fold afterwards. High quality results in a professional way. A blast and suction air system arranges the feeding of printed sheets up to SRA3 format gently and a registration mark allows the machine to track the image as opposed to the sheet edge. The CardExtra Plus is a multi functional finishing machine as well for small and mid-size runs lengths and particularly suited for the digital printing industry. 

The CardExtra Plus has the ability to take sheets up to SRA3 format and process to many different size sheets as shown opposite utilising optional plug-in cutters for accuracy of +/- 0,1 mm, shown on the below table. Pre-programmed or individually adjustable cut patterns can be saved for repeat work to finish postcards, tickets, flyer or business cards in high quality appearance. These are accessible from the LCD control panel on the front of the maschine. An output paper tray for large formats is included in delivery. To use various cut patterns the plug-in cutters can be easily changed from the operator.
