The new DigiLam is the professional lamination unit for glossy prints which are additionally protected against UV radiation, scratches and dirt. The DigiLam extends the substantial Nagel product portfolio for print finishing solutions with a high quality and reliable unit for lamination of prints.

The Nagel DigiLam is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for lamination of digital and offset prints. It is compatible with over 95% of digital print equipment. Choose from a wide range of film materials as polyester, polypropylene or nylon and a fine sort of film range: gloss, matt, embossed, scuff free, varnish or box gumming suitable. The robust housing and easy operation cause short set-up times and quick change and load of lamination film into the expansible shaft.

Its innovative heating system with oil allows retain heat energy much longer time than air or water. So a lower power consumption level can be achieved without compromising quality. The sealed oiled filled heating roller, external temperature sensors and software programs automatically diminish any temperature fluctuation during the stops, changeovers and goes. 

A high polish finishing applied on the heating roller allows developing efficiency heat transfer and working on lower temperature levels. It switches off the pressure roller automatically during the stops and it keeps temperature fluctuation very low. All of these just to minimise over heated exposures. 

The suction air belt, feeder, frontal gates and software program guarantee an ultimate productivity at its maximum speed up to 22 meter per minute. The DigiLam produces up to 3.700 SRA3 sheets per hour (under best conditions) and handles paper formats up to 720 x 520 mm.
